Job Title: Technical and Field Service Engineer Office Location: Istanbul, Türkiye

General Role Description:

Install, maintain, commission, and provide warranty support for assigned projects while meeting project schedules and performance criteria. Depending on the technical scope, client, and business requirements work assignments may occur in person at a client site (Field) or remotely via designated software, voice, and/or messaging applications (Remote Support).

Role Accountabilities:

- Install, upgrade, and maintain electrical and automation equipment at assigned field locations
- Configure hardware and software components after installation
- Test and troubleshoot electrical and automation equipment, including AC and DC drives
- Provide site and/or technical service status to colleagues, clients, and management
- Maintain current safety qualifications appropriate to the assigned tasks and adhere to both Companyand client safety requirements
- Document installations, repairs and problems identified during commissioning, technical service, and warranty support
- Create reports based on analysis of drive/automation system performance data
- Comply fully with all Company commissioning procedures and checklists

Minimum Qualifications:

- Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering degree or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
- 2 years' industrial experience in installation or maintenance of electrical equipment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and time management skills and appropriate attention to details
- CEFR English proficiency level of B2 or equivalent
- Ability to work in outdoor environments in high and low temperatures
- Ability to lift 25 kgs (55 lbs.) as needed
- Ability to work standing for long periods of time on hard surfaces
- Ability to climb and descend 50m of ladders safely and efficiently
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 75% of time, often with limited notice

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5 years experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment
- Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering degree or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
- Field engineering experience in metals rolling, container crane systems, and/or paper industries
- CEFR English proficiency level of C1 equivalent
- AC and DC VFD experience
- LAN topology experience (ISBUS, Profibus, Modbus, EGD, DeviceNet, TC-net, MELPAC, TOSLINE)
